Grasstrack Banter Promotions has initiated significant upgrades to its Bantasia Arena track for the upcoming 2025 season, aiming to enhance safety and performance conditions for racers. In response to feedback about the track’s previous rough conditions, the organizers have enlisted Justin Barclay, a respected track designer and the son of the legendary “Ace of Aces” promoter Ian Barclay. Barclay’s expertise in motocross and track curation is being utilized to ensure the Bantasia Arena is in its best shape yet.
These upgrades are expected to improve the overall racing experience for both competitors and fans, addressing issues of the ‘undulations’ and ‘bumps’ that previously challenged riders. The improvements align with Grasstrack Banter’s mission to elevate the standard of their events and ensure a thrilling yet safe environment for competitors to race on.
It’s been great having Justin down for the week giving the track some much needed TLC. Extensive levelling, compaction and fresh grass seed sewing has been undertaken with further compaction and heavy rolling expected in early 2025.
