With the news last week that Grasstrack Banter Promotions has been born there is plenty of plans and conversations taking place to ensure we hit the Grasstrack world with a bang with our first staging of ‘Bantasia 1’. As we come to the end of another working week, we are pleased to share more good news from the GB promotions camp.
We are extremely proud to announce that Stellar Despatch have come on board to be the title sponsor of the 500cc solo and 1000cc Sidecar Super final that will take place at the end of the day and wrap up the event. The Hampshire based courier business offer a Guaranteed Same-day delivery and collection service all over the UK and have been stars of the road since 2008. The business has links with the sport having began working with top riders like former GP speedway star Scott Nicholls and up and coming youngster Anders Rowe.
Stellar Despatch managing director Paul Munter is happy to be supporting the inaugural staging of the ‘Bantasia 1’ event. “We looked at what the boys at GB Promotions have been doing and it’s obvious they are putting in so much effort to lay on an event that is not only professional and well organised but also fun for riders and spectators alike and I’m sure this will be a great event at Whaddon Farm. That is why we wanted to be involved and support them because the sport needs an injection of young blood and fresh ideas.
GB promotions Ben Ilsley is equally as delighted on Stellar Despatch supporting the event. “A huge thanks to Paul and the Stellar team for coming in and supporting the event. We are thinking long and hard about the running of the meeting for next year. We have been overwhelmed with the response from riders, spectators and the Grasstrack racing community and we are already receiving enquiries from some of top names in the sport pledging their support to our event. We are also starting to get support coming in from quite a few top industry brands that we will be announcing soon.
